When I started in this business, we were taught and encouraged to continually make contact with our clients.

About four years ago or agency started letting clients know that they can call us any time (if you get voice mail, we will promptly call you back). The feedback has been strong. Our clients are generally busy, that is why they "delegate" their insurance challenges to us.
